I have more than 18 years' experience in early years which is where my passion lies, making a difference to children and their families in those first experiences of education. I am confident in implementing my knowledge and skills to create a warm, nurturing, home from home environment for all children to feel safe and happy allowing them to flourish and develop whilst in our care.
I am a mum of 4 who loves to engage in the outdoors, being active and making memories.

I find working with children a privelege, I have over 17 years experience in early years 6 of them working in a special school, I am very pasionate about meeting each indiviual child's needs and providing them with opportinities to reach their full potential and thrive, I have 2 children of my own of whom I am very proud, I love to spend time with friends and family and my favourite place is the beach.

You will find me situated in the pre - school room at seedlings, where I demonstrate my passion and knowledge in providing a fun, stimulating and safe space for little ones to explore and develop before Leaving for school. I love to share stories, singing songs and dancing with the children.
I enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors with my husband and our dog.
Nicola Smith
Qualified Level 3 Childcare
I'm a caring and dedicated nursery practitioner with experience supporting children across early years and primary settings, where | learnt about building strong foundations in child development, routine, and emotional support in a workplace environment. I also spent a year and a half as an au pair in America, which strengthened my independence, adaptability, and confidence in caring for children in a home setting. Outside of work I enjoy reading, going for walks and visiting the cinema.
Jess Agar
I have worked at Seedlings for just over 2 years, completing my apprenticeship here last year. I have younger siblings and have always enjoyed helping care for them, giving me the skills and a love for working with children. I love creating bonds with all the children and watching them hit their milestones!
Abi Shanks
Qualified Level 3 Childcare
I have worked at Seedlings for just over 4 years, completing my apprenticeship here. I especially enjoy creating tuff trays and lots of crafty activities for the children, being every creative myself.
Last year l became a first-time mum to my little girl who now also attends Seedlings too!

I'm Jamelia (but everyone calls me Jam!) I'm 21 years old.
Being 1 of 5 siblings means I've been around children my whole life and | love having my little sister here at nursery too. I gained my Level 3 Childcare qualification at Sixth form in 2022 and have worked at Seedlings for nearly 2 years.
I enjoy supporting children across different rooms, so every day is different and fun. I love sharing children's learning with parents and carers on Tapestry and celebrating their progress together.

I have been at Seedlings for around 2.5 years. I was based in the baby room. I am currently on Maternity leave, due to return in November.
Adele Swift
I am currently undertaking my Level 3 in Childcare. I have always had an interest in early years and really enjoying seeing the children have lots of fun when at nursery.
I work in every room and love seeing each child grow and develop. I really enjoy engaging in circle time, singing songs, dancing and reading to the children.
Milly Lumbis
I started at Seedlings in January. I have always wanted to work with children. I am very kind and nurturing and enjoy seeing the children hit their different milestones at their different ages. I am very much looking forward to seeing where my journey in Childcare takes me!
